Gift Wrapping
Our gift wrappings blend tradition and innovation for an unforgettable experience.
The paper is of immaculate white or rich copper. The white woven ribbon, delicately adorned with our logo in deep black, wraps around the gift, adding a touch of timeless sophistication. An embossed seal, black on white paper, white on copper, is applied with the L’Atelier du Vin stamp. Even our smallest treasures have their own delicate gift pouch.
Wine is a celebration; gifting wine tools is too!

A genie out of the bottle. The sommelier’s magic wand. The raw zamak of the Bilame Craft ® is a testament to its authenticity and a nod to the history of this mythical corkscrew.
A genuine leather case, handmade in Italy, protects its mechanism like the tool of a great artisan. The fine blades of the corkscrew slip between the side of the cork and glass neck to open or re-cork a bottle, all with a simple turn of the hand and no forcing. Patented by L’Atelier du Vin in 1949, this opening system lets you extract the cork without piercing its surface – before putting it back into place as if nothing had happened at all.
How to use the Bilame Craft corkscrew ?
2. Move the handle back and forth to push the two blades all the way down.
3. Unscrew while pulling the handle upwards to extract the cork by gradually turning, without forcing.
A Twin Blade Corkscrew Manufactured in France, with a Genuine Leather Pouch
The Bilame bottle opener, designed and made in France, was patented in 1949 by Sanbri ®, owner of the protected L’Atelier du Vin ® trademark. This twin blade bottle opener was once used by waiters to open and close bottles without piercing the cork, to sneak a bit of wine from each bottle. With its raw Zamak finish and leather Italian handstitched pouch, the Bilame Craft bottle opener pays tribute to sturdy materials and a passion for authentic wine tools.
A Twin-Blade Bottle Opener with a Raw and Handcrafted Design
This Zamak twin-blade bottle opener stands out for its simple and practical design. The raw texture of the material speaks for itself. The wine tool features a sturdy handle, providing a firm grip every time. Once removed from their sheath, the two blades are ideally spaced to fit between the cork and the glass neck – a corkscrew of the highest technical and ergonomic quality.
A Handcrafted Genuine Leather Pouch
You can recognize a true craftsman’s tool by its sturdy, made-to-measure case. The superb Bilame Craft corkscrew’s sheath, handstitched with red thread in Italy and made out of thick leather, was created by our design partner Margherita Matticari. The warm leather and cool metal complement each other perfectly. The pouch protects the blades, extending the professional bottle opener’s lifespan, so that it can be passed down from generation to generation.
A Corkscrew for Connoisseurs, Ideal for Cellared Wine
Corks can become more fragile over time, especially when the wine has been kept in a cellar for several years. Opening the bottle with a spiral worm could damage the cork, causing it to crumble into the wine. The Bilame Craft bottle opener, on the other hand, enables to carefully extract the cork without piercing it. Winemakers, merchants, and sommeliers use this wine tool to open vintage aged grand crus. A must-have wine cellar accessory coveted by connoisseurs.
